Minutes of Meeting - December 6th, 2009
The meeting was called to order at 1:30.  It was held at the Paramount Restaurant in Grafton, following a Christmas brunch and gift exchange.  Thirteen members were in attendance.

WATC Vice President Pam Straus discussed holding a separate board meeting to discuss details of our Specialty.  We decided that the issues could be discussed via e-mails to officers and board members.

WATC Treasurer Sandi Cooley reported a $5,497.87 balance in our checkbook, and our CD  totals are the same as the last report.

New members were voted on and accepted into the club:

WATC President Craig Larrabee sent a note to the club, which Sandi Cooley read:

Dear WATC:

Thank you for the beautiful peace lily that was sent in memory of my younger sister, Brenda, who passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Sept. 28th.

Brenda was an animal lover with her cats, Lab and German Shorthair hunting dogs, and her beloved horse, "Moe."  Brenda and daughter Sara participated in horse show competition, and Brenda had served as the Glendive Show Chairman for the Eastern Montana Horse Show Circuit where, beginning next year, a special award will be given in her name.

I would also like to thank WATC members who, through phone calls, cards and e-mails, expressed their condolences.  Your thoughtfulness was much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Craig Larrabee

A discussion was held regarding Airedale Rescue and getting more information from WATC member Paul Lackner regarding ATRA and available rescue Airedales.  This information could be sent out to our club members.

A tentative date was sent for our Annual Meeting, which was February 21st.  Craig Larrabee and Mike Bernklau agreed to host again this year.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00.
