President's Report
WATC President Sue Reimund shared information about the AKC Humane Fund Founding Member Pledge Drive.  The AKC Humane Fund, Inc. unites a broad spectrum of animal lovers in promotoing the joy and value of responsible and productive pet ownership through education, outreach and grant-making.  Monies raised may fund grants to organizations that:
* Educate adults and children about responsible pet ownership
* Provide for the health and well being of all dogs
* Preserve and celebrate the human-animal bond and the evolutionary relationship between dogs and mankind.
There is a $1,000 minimum donation to be a Founding Member.  Since our club already made a donation to the Rabies Challenge Fund, we will not be donating to the AKC Humane Fund at this time.
